SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States. Rainor thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago and Yangon Regions and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.46) inches in Manaung,(1.30) inches each in Tiddim and Madauk, (1.14) inches in Hkamti, (1.11) inches in Mawlaik, (0.99) inch each in Machanbaw and Shwekyin, (0.90) inch in Htilin.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and weakover the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State, scattered in Bago, Yangon Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of slight increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
